Classes & Events

Leela’s Fine Chocolates provides a variety of options for social, client networking, team-building, and sponsor events. The sessions can be tailored to meet the needs of your group, whether it’s a group of kids or just those who still wish they were.

A session includes a presentation on chocolate with samples of chocolates to taste throughout. We can also provide a selection of chocolates for your guests to enjoy after the presentation – the perfect accompaniment to socialising or a networking session. If you would like to make the evening more memorable, why not send each of your guests away with their own box of handmade chocolates?

The session can be held in most spaces and is well suited to an office or condo function room. We can also assist with finding a venue. The session works well with groups of 10 – 40 people.

There are three standard options for the session, please see the details below. However, sessions can be fully customised to suit your needs and preferences so please let us know if you would like a different format.

  • Option 1: This session includes a 30-45 min presentation on chocolate, which covers the history of chocolate and how chocolate is made from the bean to the bar stage. During the presentation, attendees will learn how to taste chocolate like a connoiseur and will also have the opportunity to sample several varieties of European couverture chocolate and a selection of handmade truffles during and after the presentation.
  • Option 2: This session includes an extended version of the presentation for Option 1 lasting approximately 1 hour. Your guests will have the opportunity to sample varieties of pure chocolate, including unique artisanal brands, and a larger selection of handmade truffles during and after the presentation. We can also provide a selection of premium truffles – for example, Rosemary and Olive Oil, Aperol, Whiskey, and Chai.
  • Option 3: This is a session for true chocolate connoisseurs! The session includes the same presentation and handmade truffle assortment as Option 2. However, for this session, the pure chocolate samples will include some stunning examples of rare and fine chocolate varieties and more time will be taken to explore the background and qualities of these fine chocolates.

Please see the photos below taken at some of our recent events, for Simmons & Simmons LLP, the Irish Chamber of Commerce, and Merchants Singapore.

If you would prefer a hands-on chocolate experience, we also provide chocolate making classes. The standard session runs for approximately 2.5 hours and will cover chocolate tempering, and making chocolate fillings and solid chocolates. At the conclusion of the session, attendees will be able to take their handiwork home.

The session will be held in a teaching kitchen and is suitable for groups of 10-20 people. The price varies depending on the location of the class, the number of participants, and the agenda for the class. Please send us your requirements and we will get back to you with further details. Classes can be customised to suit your needs and preferences, including shorter and simpler classes for younger groups.

We have run chocolate making classes for The Kitchen Society, Chillax Market, Laneway Learning, FTI Consulting and many other companies and groups. Please contact us if you would like to book an event, or just want to find out more.
